African Americans are the fastest growing segment of homeschoolers in America and currently make up about 5% of the general homeschooling population. While the number of African-American homeschoolers is increasing, families still often find themselves a minority within a minority and face many difficulties in networking with other African-American Homeschoolers and locating learning materials which positively reflect African and African-American culture. African-American Unschooling provides several resources which fill this void in the homeschooling community.

S. Courtney Walton is the founder of African-American Unschoolers, a growing network of African-American homeschooling families and the Editor of the African-American Unschooling Web Site and E-Zine. Ms. Walton writes frequently about her family's unschooling adventures in her column, "Real Living...Real Learning with S. Courtney Walton" for the Good News Herald in St. Louis, Missouri and serves as the Unschooling Advisor for the National African-American Homeschoolers Alliance.

Visit African-American Unschooling to subscribe to the free, bimonthly E-Zine, browse our extensive collection of Africentric books, DVDs and web site links, and begin networking with other African-American Unschoolers and Homeschoolers today.
